Position: Production Operative

Location: Head Office, Keenaghan, Kilmacrenan, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal

Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Manufacturing: Operate and monitor sheet metal machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient production of products.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance, reporting any technical issues to the maintenance team.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet production targets and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing materials inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available for production needs.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a production environment, especially within the sheet metal or roofing industry, is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to operate machinery and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
