Introduction

Designed by International Award- Winning Architectural Practice Wejchert Architects, the Grange Primary Care Centre, a €3.3m project, required a comprehensive range of roofing and rainwater products to compliment the unique design and provide long-term protection for the building as a whole.

The dynamic roof design was inspired by the sculptural form of the nearby Dartry Mountains, and required a considered approach. To achieve this, the developers tasked Kytun with the supply and installation of a standing seam pitched roof system. After considered review of various roof material options, the Kytun technical team specified an Aluminium Standing Seam Roof due to its versatility, guarantees, and aesthetics.

Along with the design and implementation of the roof, a range of bespoke aluminium products were also fabricated and installed, including External Aluminium Wall Cladding in bespoke RAL and feature Aluminium Flashings.

Gutters and Downpipes and all associated accessories were also installed for the safe and effective removal of rainwater from the roof.

The result of the Kytun Aluminium Rainwater System & Architectural Aluminium products on the build combines the aesthetic vision of both the architect and the builder, McKelvey Construction.
