Kytun Catchment Cavity Tray - Brickwork

The purpose of stepped cavity trays is to stop water ingress into a building at an abutment where brickwork rises above the adjacent pitched roof abutment.

A Catchment Tray is located at the bottom end of a series of stepped Intermediate cavity trays. Any water in the cavity will cascade down from tray to tray until it reaches the Catchment Tray where it is diverted outside to the roof covering via a weephole ventilator

  • A catchment tray is used to catch any water which has cascaded down from the apex and intermediate trays.
  • The catchment tray diverts any water back outside via a weephole ventilator.
