Introduction

This stunning property nestled quietly along the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Way,  is a true celebration of coastal living. With the Atlantic Ocean just a stone’s throw away, it offers a unique charm, blending the raw beauty of nature with exquisite design.

This project presented the Kytun team with exciting challenges, requiring innovation and precision to seamlessly integrate a bespoke collection of products into the build.

The craftsmanship behind the bespoke products reflects the artistry of Kytun’s Fabrication & Welding Division. Specialist welding and cutting techniques brought these unique designs to life, showcasing a perfect balance of functionality and beauty.

Advanced welding and cutting techniques brought these distinctive designs to fruition, achieving an ideal blend of functionality and aesthetics. Additionally, the project incorporated a variety of roofing accessories from our extensive plastic and aluminium product lines.”

Installation was equally intricate, demanding expertise and meticulous attention to detail. With every bespoke element carefully installed.

After a thorough review by the technical team of the required products, which included a complete Kytun Roofing & Roofline System, this project featured solutions from all of our primary product categories.

The AluSwift Half Round Gutter System, paired with AluSwift Downpipes, seamlessly blending with the AluSwift Fascia & Soffit System for a cohesive roofline finish.

At the rear of the property, the AluSwift Standing Seam in zinc was installed.

For the verge, the architect John Bonner opted for the Kytun Performance Plus Slate Dry Verge, an ideal choice for this exposed location. To further enhance the roofing system, the roofer utilised the Kytun Valley System and Valley Trim, ensuring the slates were securely fixed in the valley area.

At the roof eaves, Kytun Pitched Roof Ventilation products, including Rafter Roll and Over Fascia Vents, were installed to promote optimal airflow and ensure long-term performance of the roof system.

The complete roofing and roofline system ensured colour matching throughout the build.
